November 20, 2003
On November 20, 2003 Programme "Democratising Ukraine Small Project Scheme" was presented at the round table "EU Enlargement and Ukraine" organised by Lviv Regional Department of European Youth Parliament and youth organisation "Youth Diplomacy". As the round table was devoted to the relations between EU and Ukraine, Democratising Ukraine Programme was regarded by the participants from the point of view of its input to the movement of Ukraine towards united Europe. Some of participants remarked that if Democratising Ukraine reaches its aim and citizens of Ukraine (at least in some of its regions) become more active in protection of their own rights and influencing the decision-making processes, it is possible that Ukraine will become more attractive for the European Union.
The round table was held within the Informational Fair on November 20-23, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of British Council in Lviv.
